Although the sea can be harsh and unforgiving at times, the Suffolk coast is lush, fertile and home to botanical treasures that mostly grow on marshes, which are also home to a wealth of wildlife. Fishers Gin is made here by distilling barley grown by East Anglian farmers, a raw material that provides a full texture and a taste that beautifully highlights the aromatic flavours of traditional herbs and spices used for centuries to flavour local dishes: rock samphire, wood aven and bog myrtle. Just like the wild and untamed sea, these botanicals cannot be grown, which is why each batch of Fishers Gin will therefore have a unique flavour, the result of genuine craftsmanship created in collaboration with nature itself.
