Notes : The nose is broad and fine, rich in notes of red fruit, vegetal tones and sweet spices. The taste is dry, full-bodied, warm, elegant in the fruit tones and complex in the notes of spices, long persistence in the mouth.

Vinification & Aging: From Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes carefully harvested in October, a traditional maceration follows with contact of the skins with the wine for about 22-25 days. Alcoholic fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature and malolactic fermentation in barriques. A maturation process of 24 months in 225-liter French oak barriques follows and it is then refined in the bottle for a further 24 months.

Pairings : grilled meats, roasts, braised meats and very mature cheeses.
