Notes : On the nose, notes of plum and violet with mineral hints of graphite and flint. Tobacco and licorice and notes of spicy spices. Chewy and sharp on the palate, with hints of blackberry.
Vinification & Aging: Merlot grown as a small tree. Vinification in stainless steel for 25-30 days at a controlled temperature. Maturation for 12-15 months in stainless steel vats, followed by aging in French oak barriques for 12 months.
Pairings : Perfect to accompany Chianina PGI steak with Cetica potatoes.
