Note : This rum produced by the famous Demerara Distillery is distilled in the ancient Versailles Wooden Pot Still, one of only two remaining, over 250 years old. Only 218 produced.

It is aged for 18 years in Scotland in an ex-bourbon cask and finished in an ex-oloroso sherry, making it a collector's item. Unchill filtered, with no added colourings, flavourings or sugars.

On the nose it reveals aromas of exotic fruit, raisins, notes of nutmeg and almond. On the palate it is sweet and deep with hints of marzipan, pineapple jam, apricot and dried fruit. Enveloping and persistent.

Excellent with chocolate desserts, aged parmesan and foie gras.
