The Novaripa Winery was founded in 1969 , in a small town in the Abruzzo hinterland, Ripa Teatina . Abruzzo, a region where protected parks and wonderful beaches merge with the mountain landscape in a handful of moments. The quality of the wines of Cantina Novaripa begins with the grapes which, as the old growers used to say: “L'uv a da ess cruccant'”, that is, “The grapes must be crunchy”.
Novaripa wines come from both native vines such as Montepulciano , Trebbiano, Passerina and Pecorino , and international vines such as Chardonnay and Viognier, which paradoxically take on a characteristic native flavor thanks to the high climatic range, from the cold temperatures of the mountains to the sea breeze. Today the Novaripa Winery has 400 members , all in Abruzzo, thus becoming a point of reference for the entire region, it is a cooperative that works with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Novaripa is the union of humble families who have chosen to protect their ideals by preserving the traditions of the land.
