Notes: Selected in Austria and Hungary, these fragrant flowers give the liqueur its fruity and tart notes. The fresh flowers are macerated in water, which absorbs their delicate scent. Crystallized sugar is added to this infusion before heating the mixture to to obtain, through the natural evaporation of water, a particularly aromatic concentrate. Pure alcohol is added to this extract. Finally, more crystallized sugar is added to balance the strength and develop the elderflower aromas.
