Denomination: Piedirosso Vesuvio DOC

Notes: Fruity notes of cherry, strawberry and pomegranate meet the floral scents of geranium. Also present are notes of spices, dominant black pepper. On the palate it is elegant, with a soft and balanced tannic texture. It is mineral and fresh.

Vinification & Aging: In dialect it is called "Per'e palumm', as the shoot and the purple rachis recall the leg of a dove, the Piedirosso by Sorrentino Vini is grown in Guyot between 200 and 400 meters above sea level, on the slopes of Vesuvius. The manual harvest is carried out towards the end of September. Fermentation in stainless steel, followed by refinement in the bottle.

Pairings: It is an extremely versatile wine, it can in fact be a perfect ally for tasting grilled meats and platters of cold cuts and cheeses, but it can also accompany first courses based on fish ragù and fish soups.
