Note : Nikka Coffey Malt is a unique product. Normally whiskies obtained from 100% malted barley are distilled in classic copper pot stills, so having a malt whisky distilled in a continuous column is a rarity. Nikka Coffey Malt has a very lean aromatic profile at first impact, but with rich fruity aromas obtained thanks to the distillation method. It does not show any type of age on the label, so Nikka Coffey Malt also follows the philosophy of the No age statement, to the benefit of a great freedom, on the part of the Nikka chief blender, to select the best barrels, which age at the Miyagikiyo distillery.
