Founded in 1884 by brothers António and Francisco,Sociedade dos Vinhos Borgessoon became one of the leading wineries in Portugal, the result of a combination of tradition, centuries-old knowledge, dedication to the land and a passion for wine.
Aware of the need to master the production process from the moment the vineyard is planted, Borges is present in the main Portuguese delimited regions with four of its own and reference Quintas: in Vinhos Verdes, Quinta de Simaens and Quinta do Ôro; in Douro, Quinta da Soalheira and in Dão, Quinta de São Simão da Aguieira.
