It takes its name from the Planas Valley, a region located near the Diplomático distillery at the foot of the Andes mountain range. Planas is an elegant and rich blend, surprisingly intense for a white rum. An unexpected explosion of flavors and aromas that is balanced by the delicate roundness of this rum. Planas is an extraordinary blend: Pot Still (50% heavy rums) and column stills and Batch Kettle (50% light and semi-heavy rums). It is aged up to 6 years and then filtered.
