Name: Alto Adige/South Tyrol DOC

Notes: A pleasant cherry and violet aroma explodes on the nose. Harmonious and consistent on the palate.

Vinification & Aging: Traditional vinification. The grapes are destemmed and pressed. Fermentation on the skins in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Here too, the Salasso is done to have more skins on less must. After fermentation, it is racked and pumped back into stainless steel containers to do the Malolactic and to be able to mature for about 6 months, safeguarding the characteristics of a classic Lagrein (without woody flavors).

We recommend aging between 5 and 10 years.

Pairings: recommended with roasts and game-based dishes, mature cheeses.
