Friulian

Friulano , also known as Tocai Friulano , is a white grape variety native to the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region . This grape variety has an ancient history, with written documents dating back over two centuries. Initially, the wine was called Tocai Friulano , but in 2007 the name was officially changed to Friulian to avoid confusion with the Hungarian wine Tokaji .

Friulano has an intense aromatic profile, with notes of apple , pear And almond . To taste, it is dry , mineral and has a pleasant acidity.
