It is produced exclusively using a maximum of 100 barrels per year.

Elijah Craig Kentucky Straight 12 pays tribute to the Reverend Elijah Craig, the man who invented bourbon after barrels in his warehouse burned to the ground.

On the nose it is full and sweet with notes of oak and caramel with a light hint of resin. On the palate it is full-bodied and smooth with notes of apples, anise and a hint of spice.

Islay che mette la giacca senza togliersi gli stivali: torba medicinale e spruzzi di mare in primo piano, poi scorza di lime, vaniglia e cacao chiaro. Il sorso è affumicato ma ben pettinato: dolcezza di malto a smussare gli spigoli, mix di botti (ex-bourbon, sherry, quarter cask) rifinito da un tocco di rovere vergine che asciuga il finale.
