Campania - Wines

Viticulture in Campania is a sector that boasts a thousand-year-old and deeply rooted history, representing one of the most characteristic and distinctive aspects of the regional agricultural landscape. This land, rich in history, culture and traditions, offers a variety of wines that reflect the uniqueness of its territories, the result of a union between vine and environment.

Campania is home to ancient and prized vines, many of which are the basis of a winemaking style with a strong typicality. These vines have been cultivated for two thousand years and are still present in the vineyards of the region. Wines such as Aglianico , Fiano , Falanghina and Greco have historical roots that date back to antiquity and are considered the ancestors of some of today's wines. Campania stands out for its enormous varietal richness of vines grown in the territory. There are over 100 native vines , a number unmatched in any of the wine-growing areas of the world. This originality is reflected in the highly recognizable aromatic profiles of the regional wines.

Over the decades, thanks to the commitment of local producers and institutions involved, the variety of native species has been recovered. These vines continue to produce wines of great value and typicality.
