Vermentino is a white grape variety, known for producing fresh and aromatic white wines. Its origins are probably attributed to Liguria , although it is also widely distributed in Tuscany, Southern France, Corsica and Sardinia.
In the latter it finds the optimal conditions for its life, especially in the north-east of the region where it gives life to the most famous denomination: Vermentino di Gallura DOCG.
