Name : Rosso Umbria IGT

Notes : The nose opens with notes of plum, blueberry, violet and black cherry and a hint of pepper. Intense and fruity taste with good acidity. The well-integrated, crunchy tannin makes it very lively, pleasant and persistent.

Vinification & Aging: Harvest end of September and beginning of October; manual harvest in 15 kg crates with selection of the bunch in the vineyard and selection of the grape in the cellar. Vinification in steel with temperature control, maceration from 10 to 18 days depending on the type of grape. Elevation in steel for six or nine months on its fine lees applying bâtonnage. Aging in bottle for 4 months.

Pairings : Suitable for all meals, it pairs best with traditional Italian dishes.
