“Vor” means spring in Icelandic and the Arctic Spring is the inspiration for this gin that aims to capture the essence of Icelandic nature with a unique blend of wild juniper berries, rhubarb, cabbage, moss, sweet algae and other carefully selected Icelandic herbs. The base alcohol is made from barley grown in a cold climate that does not allow it to fully ripen and makes the spirit complex, structured and full. All botanicals are handpicked in the Icelandic highlands or sourced from small local growers who follow organic principles. There is also extreme attention to seasonality. Distilled in small batches, all essential oils of the botanicals are preserved during the distillation process. An elegant gin from the land of ice and fire.
