Organic wines are produced using grapes grown according to organic farming methods. This means that farmers avoid the use of syntheticchemicals and GMOs . European Regulation 203/2012 establishes precise rules for the production of organic wine. Producers must comply with these rules to obtain the “ Bio ” logo. During winemaking, only oenological products and processes authorized by the regulation are used.
