Notes: Powerful notes of jammy berries, balsamic woods, chocolate and tobacco on the nose. Warm on the palate, soft and subtle tannins, in line with the nose, nuanced sensations and notes of cocoa.

Vinification & Aging: The grapes are harvested and selected manually. After destemming and a soft pressing, they ferment in steel tanks, with numerous pumping overs, on the skins at a temperature between 24°C and 28°C for about 12 days. After racking and the end of the first fermentation, the wine is transferred into barriques where it will undergo malolactic fermentation and refine for several months. The last step is a further refinement in the bottle before being released for sale.

Pairings: Excellent with game and red meats.
