Notes : Complex on the nose , but immediately captivating, fresh and sweet ; with essences of plum jam, cherry, blackberry and raspberry combined with hints of chocolate, cigar box, vanilla and licorice. In the mouth it is decisive, a surprising combination of power and softness, with sweet and gentle tannins.
Vinification & Aging: Fermentation at controlled temperature (25-30°) in combined steel and French oak Horizon vats. Aging 40% in 60 and 90 hl. French oak barrels and 60% in 350 l French oak barriques for 2 years.
Pairings : Ideal for meat-based dishes, braised and stewed meats.
