Note : A great rum to celebrate 25 years of Compagnia dei Caraibi! A dream, a journey around the world in search of the purest spirits, the most provocative liqueurs, an adventure that never ends, in search of ever new horizons of taste and awareness. This celebratory bottle comes from the Clarendon-Long Pond distilleries in Jamaica. Rum distilled with a John Dore twisted neck still in 1996 and then aged, initially for over 21 years in ex-bourbon barrels in the tropical climate of Jamaica, then for 2 years in France, at the Château de Bombonnet, in ex-Ferrand cognac barrels, and finally refined for six months in small ex-Rye whiskey barrels from the New York Distilling Company. This final refinement has given a certain complexity and a gourmet tone to the powerful spirit of Long Pond. A tribute to all those who have followed and made Compagnia dei Caraibi great.
