Notes : Harmonies of red fruit combined with notes of licorice and black pepper on the nose. Soft and pleasant taste, with silky tannins that make the wine extremely fresh. Savoury finish.

Exclusively Syrah grapes to celebrate the Cortona territory through an enveloping and delicate wine. Its name is inspired by the God Achelo, depicted in one of the most important Etruscan works kept at the Museum of the Etruscan Academy of Cortona.

Vinification & Aging: After destemming and crushing, the must was transferred to stainless steel tanks where a cold pre-fermentation maceration took place in order to enhance the fruity notes. The fermentation, which took place at temperatures no higher than 25 °C, lasted approximately 10 days. The wine was then transferred for 70% to second and third passage French oak barriques, where malolactic fermentation took place, and for the remaining part to steel.

Pairings : Perfect match with vegetarian risottos, roast meats, red meat stews.
