Notes : Full nose with hints of licorice, coffee, plum jam and tobacco. Balanced on the palate, the delicate acidity supports the long persistence.

Jewel of the Banfi family, Brunello Poggio all'Oro is produced from a single vineyard and exclusively in great vintages. The refined structure is in perfect balance with the acidity, which excellently supports the long persistence. It is perfectly suited to long aging.

Vinification & Aging: Fermentation at controlled temperature (25-30°) in combined steel and French oak Horizon vats. It is then refined for 70% in 60 and 90 hl. French oak barrels and 30% in 350 l. French oak barriques for 3 years and 6 months.

Pairings : It sublimely accompanies rich and complex dishes. Also excellent as a meditation wine.
