Name : Rosso Trevenezie IGT
Notes: On the nose, jammy rose hips, currants, red fruits and hints of withered petals. Spicy with cinnamon, black pepper, cloves and cardamom, balsamic notes of resin. On the palate it is enveloping, fresh, delicately tannic, with an intense and persistent finish.
Vinification & Aging: 30% aged in new barriques and 70% in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by further ageing in the bottle.
Pairings : It goes well with red meats, boiled meats, roasts and mature cheeses. Perfect with sauces and stewed game. Try it with smoked eel and fatty fish dishes.
