Aleatico is a semi-aromatic black grape variety, specifically blue-vermilion. Most likely, it is a mutation of the Tuscan Moscato Nero .

Aleatico is mainly dried to obtain sweet dessert wines, in the sweet , late harvest , passito or fortified types. It is a wine of great color and consistency, intense and very complex.
