Gin

Gin has an ancient and fascinating history, which has its roots in the Salerno Medical School, where the monks carried out the first distillation experiments with juniper for therapeutic purposes.

Gin subsequently spread to the Netherlands and then to England, where it became a popular and sometimes problematic drink for its social consequences.

Today, gin is one of the most appreciated and consumed spirits in the world, thanks to its versatility and its richness of aromas. In fact, there are different types of gin, depending on the secret recipe of each master distiller, who uses various botanicals (herbs, spices and flavouring substances) to give a unique character to their product.
