The Côte des Blancs is located about40 minutes from Paris, to the east. It extends for about20 kmand has about34,000 hectares of vineyards, divided into 319 communes and villages. It is an area mainly facing east with chalky soils.This area owes its name to the color of the grapes grown there: 95% Chardonnay .
